Sadly it’s not, and navigating around it takes a little bit of getting used to (trying to close a video for example is a somewhat counter intuitive). But I’ll take it over adds in youtube. Tubular fork of newpipe works on AndroidTV, don’t know if newpipe itself does but last time I checked it didn’t. So I use it on both tv and phone.

Probably the same reason the whole party is still around. My skepticism stems mostly from the “popularity” of former president, supposedly reaching some 80%? Sounds pretty good if it’s genuinely true, but it’s eerily approaching fabled 90-100% authoritarian levels.

Few more places to consider if you’re in lower mainland:
Freshco/Chalo if you have the option over Safeway/IGA (same stuff, cheaper, though produce isn’t always super fresh).

Langley farm market for produce is great, often good deals and competes with big chains on prices on said produce, meat, not so much other stuff (again limited access depending on where exactly you live unfortunately).

I’d do Saveon only armed with price matching flyers or I’m after something very specific I can’t find elsewhere. Plus I’m not a huge fan of Jim Patisson or whichever carguy owns it.

City avenue market is also pretty good for produce and the occasional offers for other stuff.

Very location specific - if you like a good bread, check out European bakery in Poco, awesome rye that would cost you 3times as much in some “artisan” bakery and still cheaper than semi decent loaf from big chains.

If you used a script and it worked first time, and you haven’t already checked that the script didn’t toggle itself off, I’d start with that. Always had that thing happen to me with a custom script I added to VLC and had to remember to toggle it each time I started VLC

Couple of other things about the print stuff; I seriously doubt this even needs to profitable for them in the short term (it likely is), so unless it’s dead on arrival, the longer it keeps going, the more chances this will be the only available solution…perhaps a last ditch effort to milk us dry before printing dies?

And for anyone who comes across this in the future, at best you’re paying 10x per page compared to what medium size business did many years ago, and no you’re not even getting a real service.

They’ve been doing this with the Indigo’s for 8+ years that I’m aware of, so probably much longer. And ofc businesses fell for it because just like most cloud shit, nobody can be bothered to calculate actual costs, just fudge stuff and get your bonus/pay rise for pretending to have done something beneficial.

I used my Google rewards credit to remove ads in Sync, because I ain’t paying for that shit and they would have expired anyway.

As long as you go out every now and then (to shops or next to shops) and consistently answer the rewards stuff (doesn’t need to be true it seems, just consistent) then you’ll eventually be in the same boat as me and probably many others where you’ll eventually have nothing to spend the rewards on as you’ll have bought all the apps you need and will ditch the rewards in the end.

Ended up installing newpipe (or other app of your choice) and set it as the default app for YouTube video links 🤷 Edit: and of course you can set it as default for other sites, including peertube
