Just more content. The ashlands update added a new biome to the game with some fun stuff. Valheim has been running well on Linux for a long time.
The new Valheim update was pretty fun. I also like playing CS2
I’ve been using oS:TW for over a year now. It’s extremely stable for a rolling release distro. Plus if something does break, snapper rollbacks from the grub menu are set up by default. I’ve only had rollback once though due to a fucky Nvidia update.
Osrs and WoW both run on Linux if you want something addictive lol. Bottles seems to work best for battle.net stuff.
Oh yeah I’m on X11 for now, waiting on nvidia to be ready before trying wayland again. AMD users should be fine to use wayland though.
Rolling but feels very stable. Packages go through a testing phase before release to make sure they work properly. I really like getting all the newest updates and features.
openSUSE Tumbleweed is pretty comfy. Btrfs snapshots enabled by default so it’s really hard to break it. I’ve been using it for about 8 months now and haven’t had any big issues.
I have discord installed from the flatpak. Screen sharing works but it doesn’t share audio from the applications. Discord-screenaudio and web browser discord have been suggested to me but they don’t work with unfocused push to talk. I’ve also tried xwaylandvideobridge but that didn’t stream the audio either.
Oh nice! I wonder if this will fix discord streaming audio?
I don’t see why not. Lots of new cars have these features built in.
I swapped from windows to Opensuse Tumbleweed recently. Seems like a really nice distro. Frequent updates and easy rollbacks if something breaks. Luckily I haven’t had to use that feature yet but it’s nice knowing I have it. Yast is also great for changing system settings with a gui instead of using konsole for all that.
Counter Strike 2 and WoW have been running great.
I’ve been using Opensuse Tumbleweed. Cs2 is running great on it
It’s like knowing where everything in front of you is without having to touch or hear it. Sight works with your other senses too. For example, if a pillow is laying on the floor in an unfamiliar room I’ll know what shape it, how far away it is, and that if I pick it up it’ll feel soft. If the pillow was really gross looking I’d be able to tell without smelling it first.
Yeah it does feel a bit grindy at times for all the iron and coal, but taking it slow can be fun if you don’t have much time for it. I really liked building and trying out all the different weapons.
Zenni has really good prices. I bought some prescription sunglasses from them for about $50. The site suggested I spend an extra $70 on high-index lenses but I ignored it. Glasses work great.
Finished my first playthrough of valheim this week as a duo team. Yagulath and the Queen boss were pretty crazy. I’m hoping the Ashlands comes out soon, not really sure what to do with the game until then.
Hellyeah nice! I’ve been thinking about building one too. I had been using an xbox controller for fighters but borrowed my friends hitbox for a bit and don’t wanna go back. Can’t really justify spending like $250 on one though. I think I can build on for about $50 if I use an old cigar box for the case.
How do you like those buttons? I’ve been told to get Sanwa buttons but I really don’t know much about them.
I’ve been using Nova forever. Any new phone doesn’t feel right until I install it. I like the customization options and the scroll for all apps.
Oh nice I’ll have to check that one out
