I go for option 1.

In all programming languages that I know, integers have a maximum number. E.g., in C that’d be 2,147,483,647. After that, you would run into an overflow, resulting in either…

• a crash (train stops, no more deaths),
• death count suddenly turns negative (all people previously killed are suddenly alive again and even new people are generated out of nowhere) - until we reach the next overflow when people disappear and start dying again
• or - if it’s an unsigned integer - death count resets everytime we reach the maximum limit

So compared to option 2, we have a chance of stopping the death count. And even if the train keeps running, we have essentially option 2 but the same people only die very rarely. If we assume a cycle of 1 death per second and an integer boundary of 2,147,483,647, that’s just one death every 68 years per person involved. Seems more fair to me compared to 100 people constantly dying over and over again.

I am far away from being a pro and own several Bosch Blue tools that were all rather cheap. You can buy them in every hardware store. Fein, Hilti etc. are usually far more expensive. As I don’t own them, I can’t compare the quality but I’d say Bosch Blue is mostly a consumer brand.

Not sure if I’d want to pull his daughter into this mess but in general answering with an equally faked video would be a genius marketing stunt. Maybe a video where Elon writes ‘I must not share manipulated videos’ to a chalk board like Bart in the Simpsons.

I also use posteo for four or five years now. Really happy and never had any issues so far.

In case you own a lot of devices with remotes, you might transform it into a universal remote with an USB C IR dongle. Wouldn’t be my first choice as you’d still need to recharge it so often but I read of such projects.

Alternatively, you could give it to children for gaming and watching videos. Children are anyway mostly on WiFi and if you equip it with some emulators and ROMs they’ll have tons of funny games without all of these toxic in-app purchases, ads and casino mechanisms.

From my perspective that’s the best part of it. I don’t ever drink coffee and only once or twice a year - if I’m going on a long road trip - I drink one energy drink. As far as I know they have a much lower dose in Europe (32 mg caffeine per 100 ml drink) compared to the US but still it has an immense effect to keep me awake etc.

I highly doubt that’s a China specific issue. Far too many politicians have additional ‘jobs’ as consultants, speakers or a seat in a supervisory board. At least in Germany it’s unfortunately quite common, especially in the more conservative parties, to have additional income that exceeds your regular salary as a representative.
