In my experience the biggest issues tend to be some stupid launcher that publishers still think are a great idea.

That was AFTER the backlash increased after he doubled down.
I wish more people understood this: Riot’s anti-cheat isn’t perfect and you can find how to cheat online fairly easily actually, but you have to jump over so many hoops and spend a fair amount of cash to do it (depending on method) that it’s basically an exercise for motivated hackers that want to prove a point, not your script kiddie that wants easy wins.
Musk literally refused to comply to the supreme court of Brazil. How the heck are they in the wrong for blocking X?
The code may be old but it isn’t necessarily slow.
I guess it depends on your bank and location in the world. Where I am you can transfer that, for free, and it is on the receiver’s account in less than 5s or so.
A lot of bs paperwork and recounting, mostly.
Whenever I get to a webpage that looks a decade old (like most recently Ventoy) I get hit with a wave of nostalgia. Yeah, it might not look great or be very responsive to my actions, but my god does it feel great to just get thebinfo you need front and center.
I went Pop OS but I had Bazzite, Nobara and Endeavour on the usb drive ready to go if I didn’t like it.
Maybe it sounds overdramatic but if the point of a computer is to play games (and I did spend a lot of money for it) and it stutters consistently to the point that the “80” FPS I’m getting looks worse than a consistent 30, then yeah, I’m going to do something about it. And since the simplest way was wiping the system and reinstalling, then going for linux at least at first makes sense.
Well I had downloaded a few to try out, but the first one I installed (Pop OS) just worked right away so I stuck with it.
Although if you are considering a new PC, do go for an AMD GPU. Will save you a lot of hassle (like it did me).
Maybe I wasn’t clear in the OP but it was not a bit of stuttering: I could go to certain areas in game and get consistent stuttering and frametime problems, which is worse than just lowered but consistent FPS.
I’m the sort of person that takes it out of my pocket and puts it back a lot. It’s not a big deal honestly, it feels good to open and close it.
I’ve had my foldable for a couple of years and even after removing the factory screen protection I’ve had 0 scratches on it.
If you are a careful person with your phone, they are fine. If you are the type to crack your screen after a week of use, then they are even more of a headache.
Job: frontend developer
PO: customers are receiving a lot of errors! I need you to investigate this ASAP!! We are losing business
The error: “the backend application did not respond”
Definitely seems like a problem with the page mr PO, thank you for calling me on my day off.
Higher refresh rate has great applications, but the competitive crowd swears up and down that it makes a big difference. I’ve had a 240hz monitor and I couldn’t tell any meaningful difference from my 165hz.
Eventually you’ll realise that voting for the least bad option just makes things worse and never better, and you’ll have to deal with the fact that you can get what you want through the system.
If you are new it’s probably easy. If you have some experience the roughness of it will drive you mad.
Maybe I’m getting wooshed but can’t you bring up the keyboard anyway?
