  • I don’t like your Mike Pence interpretation of “You have no freedom from religion”.

I predict, that soon the Republicans will use the turmoil over the existing Constitution, seeing as the existing Constitution is failing so badly, as a reason to completely rewrite the Constitution as they feel it should have been written

A constitutional convention (of states) is a helpful path to getting mass secession. Changing the constitution is harder than just ignoring it, and daring the courts to use their armies to do anything about it.

  • Article does usual “values based” gaslighting for alliances. Western democracies are the most corrupt governments in the world and use “liberal values supremacism” for colonial servitude to US, and supremacist war/genocide/diminishment of “those who are less liberal”. We are exhalted as democracies only when we fully serve US empire ambitions.

Gaslighting in Europe right now is conflating Russophobia evil with US threats. Meloni comes to the white house to promote united western nationalism. US negotiating tact for temporarily withdrawing unjustified attacks/threats is to unite on loser Chinese warmongering, and European demonism, which Canada aligns with, would trade everything for war on Russia, even if it means the US not paying a dime/drop for our suicide, and gaining weapon sales. The desperation to return to US subservience among western puppet leaders is extreme. Gaslighting anger for a bit, isn’t just transparently PP and Daniele Smith.

Before forced military service is discussed, cutting off US weapons purchases and NORAD presence is needed. Russophobia/Sinophobia/Islamophobia US servitude, explicit western nationalism instead of liberal supremacism essentially identical basis for warmongering needs to be deprogrammed. A nuclear umbrella from China, Russia, North Korea is just as useful as a “flakey one” from Europe where which mentally disturbed demonic Russophobia gaslighting is the clear focus as a response to US attack, and whose members commitment to evil is stronger than resistance to submission to US empire that got them elected in the first place.

Trade alignment with all of Asia has to be a threat to US extortion/market restrictions. We can’t assume Europe is reliable, even if the best relations possible with them are pursued. A certain consequence of US plan to divide world into US and China blocks creates exponential risk of global war in which US block loses, but where US madness prefers global destruction.

  • I mentioned UBI/Freedom dividends. The right/obviousness of that is that all citizens have an equal share in nations revenue/taxes. No nation is at that level of freedom yet. The next best thing is not corrupting nation’s resources for oligarchist/corruption power maximalism, and governing for shared prosperity. Corporations also often have a management bias in arguing that investing in growth is better than a dividend. While they can be right, even in hindsight, and so the mildest corruption, it is always less corrupt to pay dividend, and let the shareholders reinvest that dividend if they want for greater promised returns from the corporation.

China does a fair job in distributing investment across regions, with overweight on its less developed provinces. It doesn’t meet my perfection ideal. Corrupt supporters of US empire cannot justifiably criticize it as worse than their clear corruption.

  • Many key European rulers are US loyal/agents, as demonstrated by Ukraine war support, and tolerance for extortion/infrastructure terrorism by Biden administration. Subjugating their people to US rule is the goal of some of these rulers.

    OTOH,

    1. There is a strong boycott/hatred of US movement among population.
    2. Trump/US cannot be trusted on any deal. Further subjugation to evil empire is lock in into evil and forced acceptance of further demands.
    3. War on Russia enthusiasm as a full employment measure only makes sense with domestic weapons.
    4. Significant EU investment in Chinese auto market
    5. Airbus can take over Chinese market from Boeing. Similarly, western heavy equipment alternatives can replace Deere and Caterpillar in Chinese market.
    6. If US deprives itself from ASEAN/China consumer goods and electronics, that makes them even cheaper for Europe, and it is not a particularly desirable employment opportunity in Europe either.
    7. US empire aligned social media/LLM/news media is a major profit extraction engine from Europe through services, and EU’s ability to tax/fine these is revenue and resistance over their subjugation.
    8. Greenland coveting is exclusively for purposes of enhancing war threats to Europe. Certain further subjugation.
    9. US/Israel evil on middle east and global warming is designed to raise emigration to Europe, destruction of economy, and far right reactionism in EU to promote Trump-like stupidity of policy “solutions”.
    10. Pharma tariffs are not a big deal for EU companies, as production costs are pennies per pill, and a US shell company can buy them for pennies per pill and mark them up. EU tax revenue takes a hit though, and needs adjustment policies.
    11. Chinese energy (solar) is not just a global warming solution, it is cheaper and secure (no need for fuel supply chains) energy that has up to 90% local costs/jobs for deploying the energy. Europe has leadership in Hydrogen electrolysis which is key to 100% global reenwable energy production.
    12. Russia is objectively less of an enemy than US. Can provide Europe with everything the US can. Auto market can get bigger than US, with a tendency to favour ICE engines with EU expertise.

The free (independent and unsubjugated) world is far better off economically to stay free, or join the free side. Trade with China is already a bigger partner than US for most countries in the world. Canada and Mexico are somewhat forced to anchor themselves to a sinking US ship, but Europe must resist a US enemy, and benefit from economic destruction of US, where its capital can then buy the ashes cheaply. Far more to gain from closer Asian cooperation, and participation in China led development of global south.

The worst repercussion of locking into a slaved vs free world is it significantly increases risk of war, and of civilization ending war.

  • Like I said, the state behaves like a capitalist.

Communism doesn’t get rid of property ownership. Communal ownership is still property ownership, including the right to sell/rent to private/outside interests.

The right framework for judging an econo-governance is the level of oligarchy, capital, corporate supremacy/power maximalism in the rulership/policies. Corporate/Capital vs Labour power is a primary political axis, but fights among supremacist forces makes democracy automatically corrupt.

UBI/freedom dividends provides a market based power equality between capital and labour, and always ultimate solution. But countries that are able to control oligarchist/CIA excess will continue to do better than those who can’t. We/our media labels them authoritarian for resisting evil.

  • Lots of comments that “this is a false distraction to justify war on Panama”. War on Panama is about interdicting Chinese commerce with Brazil and other countries south of US. Including FDI in Panama to boost its cross ocean trade volume through a railway.

This is more of a classified leak exposing US weakness and impotence. This does compromise stupid people’s faith in US protections across the world, and their rulers corrupt submission to US under propaganda of US protection.

  • Vietnam GDP doubled from 2008 to 2013, and doubled again by 2023. It has no debt. FDI has grown just as fast, and dominated by Asian countries. It imports twice what it exports from/to China, and its Chinese imports match its US exports. Exports are almost equal to GDP (though imports almost as high, and close to net 0 effect on GDP).

Like all neighbour countries, their best options for prosperity is close ties with “anchor neighbour”. Only corruption could cause it to become Ukraine/Philippines-like thorn in Asia.

Of the deal discussion in OP, it looks like Boeing will get shut out of Vietnam.

  • China’s desire for unification is not directly a threat. US sponsored divisiveness in Taiwan is meant to control Taiwanese into unreasonable acts. Current President is US puppet, but parliamentary majority is against suicide. Provoking the destruction of Taiwan (which US promises to do if it/Taiwan were to lose against China), comes from Taiwanese declaration of some kind.

China’s consistent copyright theft is not the USA’s choice.

These are 20 year old accusations. China today is innovating on its own.

Do not spout lies that portray china as innocent please.

You could have criticisms of China, and any other state. if the purpose of any criticism is to manufacture an enemy, then it is automatically disingenous, compared to a request for them to do better, and then instead of repeating 20 or 40 year old criticism, having a willingness to notice if the problem behaviour has ceased.

You’re suggesting that innocent vs guilty of your accusations deserves an enemy status. Is US guilty of worse? If so, you should help China overthrow US government. Most usually, hate comes before throwing any and all shit you can imagine against your hate target.

  • Enemy is entirely US’s choice. China did not deny PPE to US during covid, even if demand was larger than supply rates. Now that covid is over, PPE is imported from China again. National security can mean subsidies to allow factories to be ready to shift/ramp production, not because other nations have to be enemies, but because demand could skyrocket, and government could care about US lives. Manufacturing an enemy risks those lives.

US weapon systems rely on Chinese electronics to this day. Destroying US clean energy and EV sector will destroy domestic supply chain expansion, and retain Chinese dominance over US weapon systems, and future economy. A pure propaganda misinformation system for warmongering evil is no basis for progress or sustainability, or recognizing weaknesses that could have time to fix.

But war on China move I referred to was banning sales of US patent protected fab equipment, and advanced chips to China. That is the harm to western innovation that dooms it from loss of access to world’s largest electronic device market. Though in the long term, humanity will be benefitted from the competition from China. Just US stock market/companies will suffer from the policy.
