I’m not so hopeful. The government is shifting to full crazy and he helped them get there. Unfortunately I think if he holds on long enough he’ll be alright.

As much as I loath hearing about the man for another four years, reading Drumpf again brought a smile to my face.
I think liberals understand this, at some level, but they know they are powerless to do anything about it within the system they’ve built for themselves. They can’t outright say this, or they would never be re-elected.
They have completely embraced neoliberal economic policies, and thus depend on corporate money and support. The only thing they can do is toss people a bone here and there, and implement slow policies that might help over time, but won’t rock the boat now. Business do not like sudden changes, they want predictable stability as that’s what their investments and forcasting is built on.
Conservatives are also in the pocket of corporations, but they simply have no problem lying to their voters. They will point the finger, blame the other, make outlandish claims, and purposefully mislead the public while having no intention of helping them. They just want to solidify their power and line their pockets. People fall for these lies because they’re tired of the status quoe and any kind of major change sounds like a benifit. They’re shooting themselves in the foot, but they don’t know it yet.
Is it crazy that he’d be better if he was a five-time ultimate smackdown champion and porn superstar? Camacho actually tried to put the smartest guy on the problem.
As an early season Simpsons lover, I enjoy D’ohrdle.
I’d they’d bring back the headphone jack and sell them in North America then they might have something.
It would win the “will it fit nicely on a keychain” by a landsline.
However I doubt it would suit OP’s needs as the contacts are exposed so durability may be suspect, and seeing as it is generic I doubt the performance is up to his standards.
These ratings are ridiculous. A&W and KFC both have plant based alternatives yet get the same F rating (lowest possible) as Wendy’s and McDonalds? Because they haven’t committed to expanding the plant based menus or agreeing to limit the animal products the chain uses?
This is letting perfect be the enemy of good. They should be a D at the very minimum if not higher, reserving the F for the companies that have nothing to offer at all.
It’s interesting how tastes vary. I’ve been vegan for five years now but I still enjoy the food I grew up with. So I’m all for meat-like replacements. I would eat lab grown meat too if it became affordable. That said, I find looking at raw meat in the grocery store a lot more revolting than I used to, so I suppose that’s similar.
I do understand where you’re coming from though, if you grew up not eating meat or just have lost your taste for it, more options are always better. Unfortunately I think what they’re providing already is a stretch to them, so I don’t see them expanding alternative menues any time soon.
The real annoying thing is when you do find a veggie style pattie like you were describing… and it has egg in it.
I wish Firefox would build a tablet/scalable interface. It’s horrible on a tablet and breaks on DeX.
That’s a good practice, and I think you’re right that is what they’re going for. I don’t think that means you shouldn’t consider them, but it does lower their value proposition as the bundle is the better deal.
I haven’t jumped yet, but the Proton suite is looking more and more appealing. I’ve been eyeing them as a Gmail replacement, but I’ve been happy with my VPN and password management providers. As this reduces the bundle makes more sense.
Money is the exit strategy. I hear this kind of misunderstanding a lot when conservatives double down on something that seems against their self interest, like “they’re still Albertans, they want a prosperous future for their children too, they just disagree on how to get it”
That’s true for the average uninformed propaganda regurgitating voter, but it’s not true for the people actually making money from conservative policies. The money they collect makes them hyper mobile. If Alberta crumbles in the future from doubling down on oil and gas they’ll just… leave. When you have millions nothing ties you to where you live. They can ditch their property and move to another province, another country, no big deal. That’s why they focus on extracting as much value as possible from the land and the populace, because it’s expendable to them. They just want to make the most money now while they can.
So they use the idiots, but I don’t think the people pushing this line of thinking are the idiots.
I think you need to take a step back and ask if ARM makes sense if you’re translating x86 instructions 100% of the time. Unless you’re hoping people will develop new games for ARM and you won’t use your SD to play existing titles much, but that seems like a 180° shift to me.
It doesn’t always scale down though. There’s always an efficiency curve so we really can’t speculate. I agree, we have to wait and see.
I wouldn’t count AMD out. The whole reason the Steam Deck is so successful is because of AMDs Mobile GPU, not necessarily it’s CPU. AMD has been able to make some very efficient GPUs lately, so I do belive with a couple new architectures and die shrinks we will get the generational leap they’re talking about.
ARM sounds nice, and it might one day be, but getting x86 translation working flawlessly WITHOUT performance/battery costs at the same time as proton is just asking a heck of a lot.
ARM does best when it’s doing ARM things. Since all games are built for x86 with nobody having any intention of compiling for native ARM, I don’t really see the point. The whole reason i like the Steam Deck is to play older back catalog games, and those are all x86. Apple pulls it off because they only translate x86 when they have to.
Not defending Apple for bad design, but this has happened before with displays from different manufacturers. The ribbon cable burning from a tight bend was also what killed my first LG Ultrawide.
Yes. There are a couple different ways to do that.
You’re correct, but that’s not really the point of the origin question. Yes they always could, but why are they doing it now? Why this uptick in meddling?
That’s odd. Try httpforever.com instead.
