This doesn’t address the fire hazard at all.

I havent read the paper and surely he did a great job. Regardless of that, and in principle, anyone can do this in less than hour. The trick is to get an external confirmstion for all the discoveries you’ve made.
That’s probably the pricing before including anything (cpu, ram, ssd, ports.)
The more reason to get a Steam Deck.
GAFAM is all one hydra.
This is great. Thanks!!
Yup. Best firefox extension after uBO. If I had to pick a third one it would be Privacy Badger, although it breaks some sites.
Cool. Although, I will keep at my combo; local searxng container + firedragon.
We have solarpunk’s techno-realism though. It’s not a political party, that’s why many won’t see it. But it’s definitively there… like open source projects, hardware, fediverse, and so on.
Cyou count to 100? Learn quantum physics, compute the odds for each ball, and win the lottery. Easy peasy. I don’t know why these kids can’t thrive here in the future.

In all seriousness, learning c++ or any language is good advice but it may only be easy or even possible if you have a certain background of concepts. We tend to overlook those, and remember achieving a certain skill without the full picture
Will anyone acknowledge the fact that you only learn to ride a bike once? To me, the saying “is like riding a bike” means the opposite…
I’ve been playing Solo Self-Found (SSF) and even if you don’t get the special stash tabs, you should know about setting up ‘affinity’ to your tabs so that Ctrl+click sends corresponding items to it ;)
But again, with a few bucks (I’d say way less than $30!) you can get some of the most essential ‘quality of life’ goodies. Currency stash tab being the most relevant.
And why untyped languages are better at managing memory too. Less characters ftw!
And it has glycosides too! So it may also be toxic to humans.
Thanks, that clarifies the… Aliens?
Under direct democracy (or even representative democracy but with more levels in between) it would be at people’s disposal to try and ultimately solve anything…
I’ve done a semi-exception in the case of Xitter. I like this new name Elon chose because it brings the possiblity of playful sounds. Same goes to Xitler.
And, they just released a mini pc that’s super cool!
Adding a high quality smart switch to a 5-year old battery might do some good, of course. But this is a cluster of old batteries, all in bad shape for many years of usage under different circumstances, temperatures, etc. And they’re all different models. Each battery will need a different time for going from 20 to 80%… it’s wild.
I do this kind of risk assessment on the worst scenario, a fire could turn your home into ashes. The only option to me, being strict, would be removing those batteries (after all, your main goal is to re-use the other hardware.) But that’s only possible in a handful of phone models… it’s just unfortunate. I guess I should get a FairPhone next time!
