Nazis are like invasive weeds. They grow whenever the land is fertile, but are otherwise dormant when the land isn’t conducive to them.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my years on this planet, it’s that all animals have souls. Many animals are far more intelligent and self-aware than we give them credit for.
Hold on, queer sex has to be a lot bigger on this pie chart. Very important!
Ah, that’s exactly what mine does sometimes.
“what God has made plain through nature and Scripture.”
Yeahhh…about that. A lot of animals have gay sex and straight sex at different times. A ton of animals are bisexual in nature. You can even see this in pets.
Since 2020, we started dating two years later. We’re married now :)
Out of curiosity, what is the difference between older S3 sleep and modern sleep?
Modern construction on a budget. It uses little more than reinforced cardboard and a moisture barrier. Sometimes the cardboard isn’t even glued or nailed in. So it can literally get unfolded by the wind, and suddenly the only thing preventing your house from getting water damage is a .3mm piece of plastic wrap that you HOPE the contractors didn’t damage or install improperly.
Here’s one such house. I don’t know if it would even last a decade without significant repairs. They voided the warranty on the roof already too, so you could be out tens of thousands of dollars before you even move in.
Happy pride, especially those who are quietly exploring. I know exactly how you feel, as that was me once!
AJ is a government mouthpiece for Qatar, they probably are pumping their numbers with bots. I peg them in the same category as RT and FN, which are also mouthpieces for their respective nations.
Yep, higher prices on a variety of things. Check receipts and invoices.
Glad you held fast. Everyone should take turns doing chores. It’s kinda mind bending that people don’t already.

Yeah, I knew about that trick, but for me, it was easier to just break down 16 into its smaller components. Or remember that 19 was a prime, which belonged to 7. After a bit of time (heh), it all just started to meld for me. Nothing like immersion-based learning!
I used math tricks at first. But honestly, just switching even one clock like your watch or phone makes it pretty easy over time.
1pm is easy to remember as it’s 13, a prime number
7x2 = 14(00)
3x5= 15(00)
4x4 =16(00)
5pm is 17, also a prime.
6x3 = 18(00)
7pm is also a prime, 19(00).
20, 21, 22, 23, and 00 also have math tricks, but you can also just remember that after 8pm, you have less than four hours till midnight :)
12 hour time is an inferior standard, and we should be on 24 hour time so developers don’t ever default to 12 hour time. Way too many instances of mission critical things getting swapped on am/pm by mistake. That is never a problem with 24h time.
30 is hot, 20 is nice, 10 is cool, 0 is ice.
Honestly, with metric, 24 hour time and celcius, the easiest way to learn is just to switch to it completely.
I’m in an imperial country and still switched over to metric/24h/c just because it makes a lot more sense for most personal stuff. It’s been enough years that I know much of it just ambiently. I prefer it, tbh.
Low key the cornerstone of modern civilization. Imagine a city where the streets are awash in millions of people’s shit/piss, the water is heavily contaminated, and everyone is constantly getting fecal-oral diseases and cannot work or be healthy much of the time. Even when they are healthy, they might have to stay home and take care of sick family members.
I dunno how many people you have, but Cribbage with a group is actually a ton of fun. We would do groups of four with coworkers after work at a local pub. If we had too many people, we’d alternate groups each game.
The Persian empire was pretty big, until Alexander the Great (Greece) kicked their asses. This area has had empires rise and fall for millennia. Iran was the dominant power (and sometime colonizer) western Asia for 12 centuries.
I highly doubt anything will ever bring it peace, it’s the middle east, nuclear proliferation is a terrible idea. And that goes for anyone, any country.
