That’s not the point. It was statet that each message is associated with the number. But it isn’t. The only way to achieve this in Signal is getting into your phone.

The document does not make clear using Tor is not a solution itself. It uses wrong statements, things that aren’t related to the topic and so on but on the other hand, they state (and so did you) Tor ‘is compromised’. That is not a ‘good’ document. Look for DivestOS supported devices. What I cannot recommend is Fairphone. Several Hardware issues, support refuses to accept them. The support in general is horrible.
