I can’t get SteamVR to work in Linux unfortunately, it’s the primary thing preventing me from deleting my Windows partition

I think you mean ‘direct’ messaging
I am shocked, aghast even
Fiber to the home is pretty neat. I could actually more than double the speed to 3Gb/s symmetrical for about $14 more per month, but frankly even the current speed is way more than I need. Will probably step it down a bit when my promotional discount ends.
Forgot to mention earlier, Steam is an example of a real world situation where I do actually hit around 1.5 Gb/s down
Certainly true in regards to real life use, but it’s a good way to check that there isn’t some issue on my end that’s limiting the speed I am paying for
Unfortunately doesn’t quite reach the speeds speedtest.net can hit, but still cool to have a tool like this
APKpure is pretty well regarded, but you have to / get to install any updates manually with a new apk download
They may be greedy but they are not stupid. Clearly they calculated that by just ignoring the issue and eating the lawsuits, they save money compared to trying to make an actual solution (whatever that would even look like in the first place)
If it’s still in the return window I personally would yeah
Headphones are great but they aren’t speakers
I’m not saying that a giant pipeline would be preferable, but cooling LNG to cryogenic temperatures and keeping it there for the entire voyage is very energy intensive, not to mention the fuel costs of a carrier vessel. I am against gas exploration and transporting in general and in all its forms. It should not be considered a ‘necessary’ evil and it should certainly not see further investment in my opinion.
Also conveniently forgetting that shipping methane across an ocean is extremely polluting and inefficient
Last time I canceled it it was very easy to do (amazon.ca)
The issue with wanting a bigger battery is that many high end laptops already have the largest capacity that you can take on an aircraft in NA/EU (100 Wh)
In my personal experience it has been getting consistently worse over the last 6 or so years. It used to be nearly perfect but now it is somewhat common that the directions will be wrong or misleading
I think Brave is one of the few somewhat common browser/search companies that is worse than Google
Ventoy is very useful for diagnostics too
Using the Index, SteamVR keeps throwing a display not found error for the headset. Tracking seems to be registering but the screens remain black. I saw some people say that replacing the trident cable fixed this issue for them, but I am doubtful since it just works in Windows. I tried the stable, legacy, and beta versions of SteamVR, all to the same effect. Also tried changing the amount of displays connected and what port the headset uses. I imagine it’s some sort of display driver issue (Nobara linux, wayland on nvidia) but I have not been able to figure it out.
