Cool, thank you. It’s hard to find clear info out there

From what I have been reading they are planning to charge all users who are streaming remotely… Even if the host is paying.
“If you want to watch you library away from home you’ll have to pay. It also affects anyone you share your home library with. They will have to pay if they are not Plex Pass subscribers themselves. Plex will offer a Remote Watch Pass tier for $2/month or $20/year.”
Now, I am not saying this is by any means a big amount of money or making a judgment call about the reasonableness of them charging for what services… But it definitely seems like they want to ensure they are getting cash from everyone who ever touches Plex. Again, $2 a month is very little, but that’s on top of the charges for the host
They are pushing to make users pay as well
Ha! As a life long Albertan. We have had this cancer for a very very long time. Up until the NDP won an election a few cycles back the way it tended to work was the only way to unseat a conservative government was with an even more conservative government.
I wish Canada didn’t burn fossil fuels for power but as an Albertan I can promise you that we do.
Memes only matter if they effect revenue. If profit climbed then the stupid stays.
Memes don’t matter if revenue climbed
Specifically from Tim Hortons, which despite not having been Canadian in ages still gets treated like a Canadian icon.
But as a result yeah, often referred to that way in common culture.
As a Canadian it looks like a timbit being used for scale
Also a voters pay and retirement benefits are not likely to be impacted by how they vote. Civil service it can make a huge difference in the long run if you retire vs get dismissed.
As much as that is a wonderful sentiment. Retirement vs firing might make a substantial difference in their quality of life i. Retirement whereas getting fired is a symbolic gesture that may or may not have any impact at all. I can understand trying to make sure that personally you come out as on as possible.
I always carried purple, none of the guys I knew would steal a purple lighter and I always knew which where mine.
As an Alberta I resent the accuracy of your assessment…
Jeez, Ontario is cheap. In Alberta we got $400 each in 2006 as a bribe. Hold out for more folks.
And the first sentence literally describes the scientific definition of bug…
I work for a Canadian EMR company and we deal with a couple of options for medical voice software. I know Dragon naturally speaking has a medical offering that likely would meet any regulatory requirements. There are also some subscription based ones that I don’t know if there are US versions of, but If you google the medical options you should be able to find some options.
No idea but I love it
They have a certain amount of time with this vote to actually do anything with it. The timing of this vote will allow them to negotiate over the summer with the mandate in their back pocket and have the actual strike potentially be in the fall as school is supposed to be coming back.
They do it now because it becomes really hard to organize a vote as soon as summer hits.
