I could understand if you were buying a pay-as-you-go phone on the cheap… but this is an iPhone you’re talking about. What’s the minimum, $799? I think they can afford to toss a cable your way if you need one.

I never knew Microsoft even had support. Was part of a very large (worldwide) enterprise and remember the other teams complaining about lack of anything when trying to escalate issues.
There’s definitely some water in those!
Some companies in the US have a deal to where they match on 401k. One such organization puts in 5% for your 2%. Two percent is low enough it wouldn’t be a hit to almost any cash in your pocket given that the money is taken out pre tax.
I work healthcare adjacent and some providers were affected as expected. Hoping as well that those critical systems were not, but that chance is non zero.
I mean… 802.11g is still able to be used. Even b is supported under the radios I’m familiar with.
It’s obvious. You keep jeffing things up.
I get this as being a bit of a hurdle, but wouldn’t a good option in hind sight be to create a separate work related apple account based on your work email? I’ve done that in the past with various companies for iPhones and MacBooks. Makes it cleaner to return the device and doesn’t compromise my personal account should they ultimately need my credentials on the non-owned-by-me device.
I don’t disagree for sure, but at some point the price will become more competitive as other companies see dollar signs…
48v 100ah battery with Bluetooth BMS built in is around 700$ on ali express… Slightly more direct from Amazon in the USA if you want it fast. Will store close to 5kwh which I guarantee you beats out this solution. Of course you’d still need to buy the grid sync inverter (available in many places) as well as a solar mppt charger and solar cells. Still will come below this cost - or you’ll simply blow by the capacity of what you would have paid for this solution. But gotta have the old noggin on straight to do it yourself.
Agreed. Being in the house and having the shrill component of the blower removed would greatly be appreciated.
I was waiting for Trump to appear somewhere. Didn’t expect this take though!
OMG… That’s the one thing that triggers me every time.
They’ll reintroduce the feature with their own ads embedded.
My journey started innocently. I wanted some dimmers in my basement which has my office and a theater setup with 3 separate light sets. Then my wife wanted a craft area so I added another dimmer. I then bought some smart plugs to control my desk lamp and my monitors. Initially all of these devices were individually controlled either via web page or by the company app (Shelly) all within the confines of my LAN. I then spun up home assistant to see what it could do on a whim - and found it had built in hooks for my projector, receiver and Nvidia shield. When I sit down to watch a movie, I can now dim all lights, turn off distracting things (my office monitors and desk lamp), kick on the projector and control the shield to pick a movie. And if I have to use the bathroom? Pause the movie, turn up the accent lights and walk without fumbling for a single switch. Also - the dimmers are all connected to physical switches on the wall so it’s not a “phone only” setup. Press the wall switch, lights come on. Hold the switch, and the lights start at their lowest point. Double click the switch and full brightness. Pretty versatile!
I’m a noob… But hear me out. Does anyone make a browser extension that fools the site into thinking you’ve accepted the cookie(s) when you really haven’t?
This right here. Got a pixel a year ago… Holy shit. Was wondering why I literally get zero spam calls after formerly only owning Samsung phones… Google Assistant screening everything is just fantastic for my ADHD brain.
I had an old Radio Shack bulk tape eraser that I got good at using as a degausser. Cable TV installer came in and moved my speakers too close to the TV and it cast an off color to the side. Tried my hand with the big electro magnet and got rid of the discoloration.
Just read a review on Amazon today about a newer brother printer that they’ve instituted a lock out on toner. Was telling a colleague that they were decent enough to not do that… But then I ate my words
