Average users are subject to the whims of admins as much or more than on Reddit, because here, admins can effectively hide /r/piracy, and you’ll never have known it even existed. Understanding the mechanics that allow that process is more complicated than learning reddit. I’m not prepared to say it’s worse, but it’s different.
