The more profit motive and financialization removed from the housing market the better. Housing is closer to infrastructure than investment.

Given this one is diesel, I would imagine it will be slightly less problematic in terms of modes of failure at least.
Toxicity drives engagement. Engagement means more ad views.
As long as profits are the motive it’s a flawed design.
And coming from the guy who pushed for the ‘strong mayors’ nonsense!
I can’t believe Sutcliffe of all people said this… Don’t make me sort-of think you aren’t complete garbage now!
Jail time please.
Yeah the law is just so vague about it though:
But just yesterday I encountered someone doing 70-something on the highway and it caused a lot of frustrated drivers making hurried lane changes - so I can definitely see the danger there.
Will be curious to see if this does anything other than increase the number of accidents and creating more slowdowns…
Why is that leaned back IDGAF pose so popular in these things?
Better not build any bike lanes that could interfere with cars either! We wouldn’t want people to be able to bike to work.
Man this guy is a complete ass.
That must have taken a long time to plan and apply. And that whole time he just kept thinking it was a good idea…
Do we know that though? I’m genuinely just curious because it seems to me like it would be at least somewhat diminished.
Has this been studied? I’d be very curious to see how much the risk is diminished.
I can’t get over had bad all levels of government are failing in dealing with this housing crisis. An entire generation of people are being absolutely f-ed over here and it’s just driving people to more extreme politics.
It would nice if the streets/roads were designed appropriately to naturally guide people to lower speeds. When you have a straight, wide road, people are naturally inclined to go faster.
Kinda torn on these things.
It’s much cheaper than the money they make on it though. Hence all the profits.
Ya love to see it!
