Just got back into photography after a 10 year hiatus and having a lot of fun. Got me a cheap camera to learn on before I make any sort of investment.

  • Camera: Fujifilm X-T1
  • Lens: MC Helios 44M-7
  • Filters: Tiffen Glimmer Glass 1, Tiffen 85B (Having fun using it in daylight with a CineStill 800T film simulation recipe)

I need to learn more about these recipes, I’ve got a cinestill recipe on my x-t5 from somewhere else that has completely different settings to that one, but fairly similar results.

I think it depends on what sensor the camera uses. The x-t5 has a way newer sensor that enables more settings for film recipes.

So cameras with the same x-trans sensor can use the same recipes.

They’re both X-trans V sensor recipes, though I think it probably shows more about my lack of understanding of the combined effects of the settings than anything else, because the end effect is pretty similar.
