Hmm. Really makes you wonder if it was ever intended to be built or they just bulldozed a massive field to collect some green energy grants.
Literally my first thought, and it wouldn’t be the first time that sort of thing happened, either!
If a grant was collected, and a project had not been completed (or started), the company should pay it back with interest.
It’s not so bad. I don’t think our government gave them a lot of cash assistance up front from what I read. More like relief for start-up period.
