So ive said a lot of shit about America since their dive into insanity. But I’ve ran into relatively normal people that now view America as a pure enemy. Like really calm people that have told Americans to their face that if they step into canada, with the intention of invasion, they will be met with a bullet to the head. And more then a few that legitimately know how to cause mass destruction. I don’t think our neighbors to the south really understand just how fucked they made this relationship. I’m just understanding that my hot head position isn’t too far from the norm.

I forgot to make this interactive, really what I’m saying is have other people ran into this? Where your gut reaction of let’s end them as a country has now bled into the people around you that you wouldn’t think thought like that?

You do realize that not all US citizens are responsible for this. Only 30% support these Nazis.

If you want to hate me, that’s fine, but then you’re not much different than the bigots you despise.

your complacency and acceptance of the situation without fighting for change speaks volumes. In the 90s there were riots for days because cops beat a black man. Now people are being disappeared and officals are blatently lying on TV and ignoring the laws, and the public does nothing. A few tiny protests at some car dealerships. The american public’s actions speak volumes.

Plus the 190million who didn’t bother voting. Plus the 75 million who did vote for orange fash. That’s a lot of Americans who are on board with this shit. Nah Canada hates all those who voted for him And those who stayed home on voting day - plus the admin. Yep we hate you. Also, we’re getting divorced. So fuck off, we’ve moved on. Forever.

Trump was democratically elected, which means both those who voted and those who did not vote are to blame, which happens to be somewhere over 50% of Americans.

If voting made any significant changes (ie hurting the elite and helping the common people) they wouldn’t let us do it. Instead we get to choose from one of their puppets.

Are you arguing voting is useless, and by extension people shouldn’t bother voting, because the lesser evil is still evil?

Of course both parties are corporate puppets, but one party tries to sustainably extract money away from people, while the other is attempting a scorched earth policy tactic to extract money from people.

You have the collective power and the responsibility to fix your country’s shit and yet nobody has even tried. We’re fully aware not all of you voted for this, but the inaction speaks volumes as to how docile and apathetic your people have become. We don’t hate you, but we’re very, very disappointed in you all.

I have heard of their 50501 day or whatever it is coming up or in the past but it is obviously not doing much seeing as how I cannot tell you if it has happened or not. I do know that there have been rallies around the states but I do not know if that is because Musk has shut down their department or if they are mad at the government.

I don’t hate you. I don’t hate Americans that feel afraid of where the country is going and who are opposed to it. If anything, I empathize. I also think international networks to oppose what’s happening in America are important. That includes working with and supporting Americans who are actively working against the movement taking over the country.

That said, Americans bear direct responsibility for standing against this if they’re not part of it. Being a passive commentator is not enough. It’s time for those of you who stand against what’s happening to actually get organized and form an active resistance. Be part of that, and you’ll have my support. Don’t resist, and you might as well be part of it.

Every day those of us who voted against this shit are horrified reading the news. Before the election we warned everyone who would listen that a second Trump administration would be the end of this country as we know it. MAGA is well on their way to realizing Project 2025 and our institutions and leaders that were supposed to protect us have completely failed us.

MAGA will continue destroying our institutions, they’ll start disappearing more political opponents and they’ll keep threatening the countries that were once our closest friends. Things will only get worse and a lot more violent. Most Americans won’t fully realize what’s happening because our media is controlled by MAGA billionaires and over the past half century conservatives have successfully dismantled public education to the point where half of Americans are too stupid to be able to distinguish between facts and opinions.

And yet so far nothing has really changed for the vast majority of Americans, their day-to-day lives remain the same and things more or less function as they always have. They’re comfortable enough that they’re not going to risk their life or imprisonment to rise up against this fascist regime, if they’re even aware of what’s happening. The ones that are informed and care will attend rallies, listen to NPR and write their representatives.

So I completely understand you want to see Americans go French Revolution on MAGA, but this is the reality of the situation here. Americans are too comfortable, stupid and whipped to mount any substantial resistance to MAGA.

Regardless of how you voted, as OP put it, if you cross into our country with the intent of invading, it’s a round through the brain, or a blade to the femoral or carotid arteries, or, optimally, an axe to your achilles, forcing you to waste manpower on treating the wounded. And we won’t be providing your wounded with free health care.

The way it looks, though, soon the US military will be primarily racist white men on the combat front, so it will be a service to humanity to correct that evolutionary cul de sac of attitudes.

Of course, we’ll have to infiltrate and sabotage your country as well, taking out your supply chains, messing up your comms, and disrupting your mechanization. We’ll probably burn down a white house or something like that, too, just for tradition’s sake.

Ideally, what I’d much rather see is you guys fight it out, take out your oligarchs, and split into more manageable, less fanatical subgroups of states. Maybe some of them can even eventually join us as Canadian territories.

That’s my answer every time I see an American claiming they would fight on Canada’s side if an invasion happens.

Get off your star spangled asses and fix your own damn country.

Fixing America’s problems will prevent Trump’s stupid trade war from escalating into a shooting war.

How many of you did not even bother voting? Or because your government is a two party system without a parliament where other parties can gain seats how many of you wasted your votes on third parties?

You did not get out and rally up support to get people to not vote for this clown show running your government now, so that is on you.
