Yeah, but you literally cannot see where the doorbell is at my place. It’s a physical impossibility. I live on the second floor of a two flat with an enclosed entryway. No window anywhere in the building can see who rang the doorbell. Glad that works for you.

I automate my blinds based off their position, the sun position, and the forecasted high temperature for the day. (And the TV if there’s on in the room). So I pretty much never use the UI.
But I usually just use the popup UI if I need to make a one off change.
The best subscription free option in the US is Eufy. Home Assistant integration is through HACS and is hacky, but it works and doorbell video is stored locally.

Use Apple and Google maps to report ICE officers as speed traps. They will not remove their own apps. And if they nuke the traffic stop feature they’ll be skewered. Since their apps are already reporting the locations of law enforcement officers it’s not different.

Have the script generate the time and save it as a number or other variable, have the script start when home assistant does and check the variable, if the time has passed toggle the state of the AC and generate the next run time. If it time is in the future run the script again at that time.
The logic would look something like this: Start with home assistant or at the next interval of the script Check stored time, if it has elapsed toggle the state of the AC Generate new time and store it repeat the script at that time

100% they have pressured some smaller publishers and authors into exclusivity, especially self published authors that use their print on demand services. But most books you can find at competing digital storefronts.
I’m sorry but the idea that most ebooks are exclusive to Amazon is absurd. While they are trying and would love that to be true, it’s just not.
Amazon and Kindle have always been upfront about only supporting their proprietary format and people just chose to ignore it.
