Lactose intolerance is rough.

Specifically the upper peninsula region, and probably more rural, they sound quite similar to that stereotypical Canadian accent. The first time I met someone from there (born and raised country boy), I legit thought he was from Canada due to that stereotype (I’m older and wiser now).
I don’t see how that refutes what I said about why people don’t want to pay for it…?
lol ok, sure.
In what way? Give examples plz.
Nobody wants to pay for all the little individual piecemeal services and shit, because it’s wildly expensive and inconvenient, and because they keep adding ads to the paid stuff anyway because greed, so what benefit is there to paying?
Domesticated is a bit of a stretch, especially when we often hope they still hunt rodents. 😜
They tolerate us, and maybe often love us, but would not hesitate to survive without us.
Cats are independent people that choose to continue to live with you because it’s nice. Most of them can find a way out if they want it.
Is I/O in this context input/output? I’ve seen it used this way before but I’m not super techie so no clue.
Depends if your union is regional or just your workplace.
Most of the manufacturing unions in my area are just that, the area. All the trade unions are as well, and probably the teachers union too.
If it makes you feel any better, I totally get it.
I’ve thought many times how different the universe would be (would complex life on earth even work the same way???) if frozen water became more dense and sank like most frozen substances.
Oh no the laser is too powerful! You shot straight through!
I would hope that by the time something like this launched to the general public, it would be a service rather than an expected purchase. Like self-driving-flying taxis.
It doesn’t make sense to have everyone owning their own when they will probably be largely autonomous to avoid issues with individuals driving them (not that everyone owning a car makes sense either, but I digress), so the maintenance shouldn’t be an issue either.
Easily the rest of your life!
You might have just invented community service volunteering…?
You can try at least once! For science!
I’m going to watch it anyway, so there.
But as a brain cleanse, try little Emma. It’s not amazing, but it’s cute as hell. Itty bitty humans smaller than sentient racist livestock.
Yeah that’s super fair. I mean I chose the book. 😅 and it was really interesting.
I had the same trouble with the Sagan cosmos series. That bastard was so boring to listen to but his content was so engaging I couldn’t sleep. I kept hearing it be interesting. Feynman lectures, too. So dull, but engaging.
I mean, I would too, just to see if the moon is special.
I mean look, scientists (and random bored people) for thousands of years did the same thing. Tasted things, consumed things to see what they do…
Has anyone smoked the moon yet? No. So we don’t actually know. We can speculate it does nothing, but we don’t know.
Maybe snort moon dust? Probably more practical.
I listened to a book about the history of the number zero years ago. I thought it would be boring enough to fall asleep to. It fucking sounds boring. It still sounds boring, all these years later.
Either I’m a bigger nerd than I thought or the history of zero is actually super interesting and I’m super unsure which, tbh.
I switched thermostats due to the old one failing, and getting a basic smart thermostat was required for a hefty rebate that basically made it free… and the one I have now, the app thought my not-major-brand phone was a tablet. I couldn’t hit the button to turn down the heat, only up, because it was cut off due to scaling.
So yeah, requiring apps for interface is bad. Even if you are willing to use it there’s so freakin many various versions of android that it’s guaranteed to not work properly for a whole swath of people, mostly those on budget devices.
It depends how I shove the tray back in. I add eggs to them more often than I take them out.
Currently I’m sorting my quail eggs between small and large because I’m going to use the small ones for chive blossom pickled eggs, and the large for a big batch of cookies, but usually they just end up wherever they fit, one tray at a time.
My chickens are going to be another month or two before they start laying.
