I installed an external antenna for mine pointed directly at the nearest cell tower and it’s fine with multiple streams going. Before I did that it wasn’t very good. I own dullsters.net and i have been trying to clean out junk from previously abandoned projects and working on others. It has become a project in itself. There’s no shortage of 3d printers, computers, tools, and other things around here. I’m always doing some kind of diy. A lot of times out of necessity as things lately have been breaking more than usual. I’m also on a high level committee for an organization with the goal of growing an e-sports scene to help veterans. It just feels really weird to do cool and interesting things at home and have an easy entry level job that isn’t fulfilling and not seen as capable of anything more.

Accommodation requests have to be reasonable. If the wheelchair won’t physically fit in the car then you can’t force the driver to drive an accessible vehicle at all times. That would be unreadonable. Though they can’t deny rides to people if the wheelchair could fit in the trunk or whatever.

The only thing I can think of is that I was trying to get rdp going last week so I could access my main PC from a thin client in my garage. Maybe I got “hacked”? Otherwise it could be some issue with the PC, a used hp business pc, nothing special. When I first tried to load the fedora image it did the same thing, other recovery images from medicat worked. Then later trying the fedora image worked. I also reseated ram and ssd, unplugging everything and trying different monitors, etc. before trying anything else.

I wish more people would realize that these are malicious campaigns that use hundreds or thousands of “fake” accounts on reddit, Facebook, even Lemmy. Why do they happen or who runs them? Who really knows. Regular people get swept up in it of course that’s the point, but I’m gobbsmaked that more people don’t recognize organized trolling.

We had a 4a (battery life) and 5a (sudden screen failure). Both failed just after warranty lapsed. The 5a made it just outside the extended screen warranty period. These are well documented issues and I’ve read about issues with newer gens as well. It just doesn’t make any sense not to support cheaper phones when it comes to custom roms because you’re voiding the warranty on it. With the pixels track record of poor quality I’d rather not risk $1k+ just to run custom firmware.
