Ah sorry. I thought you were here on lemmy for an open discussion and polite, good-faith arguments, not just trolling and name-calling. My bad.
A human on earth. Ask me about weird tech. Bonus points if it radiates.

You lie, and say that there’s no end-to-end encryption when there is
That is not what I said. Please take a deep breath, maybe go outside for a minute, and read my reply again.
The funny thing is, half of Telegram is drugs, conspiracy nuts and really weird humour. The ai is going to be great, I can already see it.
Tikka masala being the best British dish will never be not funny
Imagine the Brits actually using spice
More the illusion of being dependable. The deal, at least as I can imagine it, was like this: you buy our stuff, and if shit happens, we come and save the day. Now, with the unpredictability of certain people, this whole deal seems to be up in the air.
Mimicry not, but a lot of “cute” behaviour is absolutely learned. If our dog wants something, she pokes you with her paw while making a cute face. Must have learned that from her previous owners. Our previous dog (who we had for much longer) never did that. That shit is 100% conscious effort, as in she observed humans tapping each other on the shoulder and figuring out that it works for her as well.
It runs just fine for me, huh. Certainly not because of lack of google services.
Maybe graphene is doing some firewall things? KDE Connect needs some ports open (to the local lan) to talk
If you have a phone with custom ROM support, pretty easy. I’ve been running LineageOS without GAPPS for like 5 years now. Most stuff just works, but to be fair, I am not using any of the cool kids apps like google pay or android auto.
No, it is a socially left, fiscally right party.
Let’s not oversimplify everything to fit it into the axis of “people who sat on the left/right of some assembly 200 years ago”
I guess they have to compete with the financial sector and the likes? Over here, it varies wildly by field and by what you do.
And? Seems like your definition and this community’s definition of “science memes” differ. Who cares. What are we even arguing about?
My dude, it’s right there in the description
A place for majestic STEMLORD peacocking, as well as memes about the realities of working in a lab.
Honestly, I have no idea what you are trying to argue
Yeah, that is why it was justified to shoot protesters
If that’s what you think I’m suggesting, you need to work on your reading comprehension.
[…]
Are you suggesting it would have been better to just let the fascists seize power?
…
And this burden of proof is on the accuser.
I don’t doubt the stories, but a court would see it in a different way for a good reason. It’s hard to find a solution between slander and rightfully calling someone out.
I can recommend looking into “science days” and stuff like that. It makes you a lot more hopeful for the future to see a lot of curious, open-minded 12-year olds.
And then they likely become the usual cynic adults, but hey, you tried.
Thanks. I only heard about Delft from a woman studying there, and didn’t hear any complaints. I guess PhD students cannot run as easily, so they get the short end :(
Actually, I was loosely considering applying there, this made sure I won’t. That stuff needs to be made more public, so that their reputation noticeably suffers. Only then will people care to enact change.
I don’t think so. Academia is still a pyramid system, and a lot of people want a post-doc or not burn bridges
Sorry, I don’t talk to liars.
