I bought two copies of this game at the end of 2019 for a friend and I to try out. At $5, why not? We have played the shit out of this game since then, especially when we both got stuck home during covid for a few weeks. Glad it’s finally reached 1.0, enjoying seeing all of the updated POI’s and some new critters. So what if it took this long to come out of alpha? Have had way more than five bucks worth of fun over the past few years.
Commodore basic on the PET computer, back around 1981-1983. My grade school had three of them in the library, and since my mom was a teacher, she would sign one out for summer break and bring it home if any were available.
I bought a couple Sceptre TVs six years ago, been great.

For the love of god! My anus is bleeding! (-Yay! Hooray!-)
The Dirtbag Diaries, The Moth, This American Life
None of these are programming related. I think quite a few people know about the last two, but Dirtbag Diaries probably less so. If you enjoy the outdoors, hiking, climbing, biking, whatever, it’s worth checking out.
Bro Hymn by Pennywise is playing right now. Listening to the punk channel on XM.
In the 80s and 90s HP printers were great. They just worked, even in rough dirty manufacturing environments. You could just about drop kick one, and it would still print out a page for you. Now they’re crap. The investment firm that owns the brand is past beating the dead horse, now trying to squeeze every last dollar out of the carcas.
Thanks, I’ll look for a copy.
Logo. 🐢
Yeah, not really a programmer. Logo and Basic were pretty much the extent of my learning as a kid back in the early 80’s. Wouldn’t mind getting into python if I had some spare time. Keep coming across stuff where being able to do python scripting would be useful.
I set on Lemmy.zip during the blackout protest on Reddit, and haven’t gone back to it. Don’t miss it. Lemmy has grown a lot in the past few months. It’s only a fraction of the Reddit userbase size, but steadily filling out and getting better.
That would also be acceptable.
This took a lot longer to happen than I expected. Do Putin’s plane next.
Looks like she’s already wearing one from the photo they used. Very brave and admirable for her to step up and continue forward.
Ah, shucks, someone already did that one.
“Fu@k you, I won’t print what you tell me!” -new HP slogan.
All the available bench space is crammed with reagents and instruments. Ceiling suspension is the only remaining option for workspace.
